Job summary

Turner Construction Company is seeking a seasoned professional to plan, manage, and execute on-site equipment rental programs for First Equipment Company across San Antonio project sites. You will collaborate with project teams and vendors to optimize equipment use, movement, and maintenance, ensuring timely delivery and high service levels.

The role requires strong project management, budgeting, and vendor management skills, with experience in Wynne RentalMan and Coupa.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required with minimum 6 years in construction rentals, logistics, equipment or warehouse management.
• Strong knowledge of construction equipment, jobsite logistics, and maintenance requirements.
• Experience with financial principles, P&L, cost control and budgeting.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills with proactive follow-up.
• On-site Equipment Rental Programs management on project sites or yards.
• Proficiency with rental software and P2P systems.

Responsibilities

• Serve as point of contact for project teams and on-site rental vendors to manage equipment needs and implementations.
• Visit project sites to manage on-site equipment requirements, maintenance, and transitions.
• Assist with preconstruction efforts: vendor interviews, bidding, and award decisions.
• Monitor equipment costs, forecast trends, and inform stakeholders of changes.
• Contribute to project cost control, budgeting, and reporting for equipment operations.
• Provide exceptional customer service and timely communication with stakeholders and vendors.
• Support safety, accountability and continuous improvement on projects.
• Support end-user system troubleshooting for rental software, inventory, and contracts.
• Track vendor billing and ensure invoice accuracy for on-site programs.
• Develop ongoing vendor relationships to ensure reliability and high service standards.
• Other duties as assigned.
