Job summary

Gilbane Building Company seeks an Energy Marshal for a major Rock Hill project. This role sits primarily on site, with occasional trainings at the office, and requires strong technical and communication skills to lead on complex MEP activities.

You will review MEP scopes, help develop schedules, enforce safety and quality controls, mentor junior staff, and collaborate with commissioning agents to ensure commissioning success.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
• 3–5 years related field experience.
• OSHA 30-hour certification.

Responsibilities

• Reviews MEP Scopes of Work and equipment pre-purchases for accuracy and completeness.
• Assists in the development of the MEP Construction and Commissioning Schedule.
• Enforces quality controls policies and inspections on the MEP trades.
• Interfaces with commissioning agent to ensure the commissioning process is being executed to meet expectations.
• Executes the submittal and RFI review and coordination for MEP disciplines.
• Coaches and mentors less experienced team members.
• Supports a positive and inclusive work environment.
