Job summary

Gilbane Building is seeking a Senior MEP Professional to originate and lead all MEP processes on a Rock Hill project. You will manage mechanical, electrical, and plumbing scopes, coordinate with design teams and subcontractors, and drive on-schedule delivery while upholding safety standards.

Ideal candidates hold a Bachelor's or Master's in Engineering with 5–10 years' experience and OSHA 30 certification. This on-site role offers strong growth within a Top-10 ENR contractor.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
• 5–10 years of experience in MEP or related field.
• OSHA 30 hour certification or equivalent.
• Equivalent combination of education and experience acceptable.

Responsibilities

• Originates MEP Scopes of Work and participates in scope review meetings.
• Originates MEP installation and commissioning activities within the Project Schedule.
• Trains others on MEP systems.
• Determines the MEP subcontracting strategies for a project.
• Develops MEP bid package schedule with input from the design team and owner.
• Tracks progress of the MEP coordination process and ensures the deliverable meets contract requirements.
• Coaches and mentors less experienced team members.
• Supports a positive and inclusive work environment.
• Collaborates with business development to align with sales strategies and client deliverables.
