Job summary

Riverview Health is seeking an on-site Scheduling Specialist at the Westfield hospital location to coordinate endoscopy procedures from GI clinic appointments and the endoscopy work queue. You will communicate with GI and endo teams, ensuring timely, accurate patient information and documentation in the charting system.

The role requires minimum 6 months of medical office experience, with preferred background in endoscopy scheduling or related duties, and familiarity with health record

Qualifications

• Minimum: High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Preferred: Endoscopy scheduling experience or related experience.
• Minimum: Six (6) months medical experience or physician billing/coding in a physician practice setting.

Responsibilities

• Schedule endoscopy procedures generated from GI clinic appointments and from the endoscopy work queue.
• Submit electronic health record elements to payers in accordance with information security and technology requirements.
• Assist office clinical staff with proper workflow to ensure accurate documentation and quality reporting.
