Job summary

Jobot is hiring a Maintenance Technician in Bloomington, MN for a 3-month contract to hire with full benefits. The role focuses on electronics, PCB, and precision manufacturing maintenance, with exposure to SMT equipment, conveyors, and automated handling systems.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of maintenance experience in electronics, PCB, or precision manufacturing.
• Experience troubleshooting automated production equipment and assembly machinery.
• Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills (motors, sensors, relays).
• Familiarity with SMT equipment, pick-and-place machines, reflow ovens, or similar preferred.
• Experience with preventative maintenance programs in a high-mix manufacturing environment.
• Basic PLC troubleshooting skills (inputs/outputs, fault identification) preferred.
• Understanding of ESD-sensitive environments and electronics manufacturing best practices.
• Ability to read electrical schematics, equipment manuals, and technical documentation.
• Experience working with pneumatics, conveyors, and automated handling systems.
• Comfortable using CMMS or maintenance tracking software.
• Willingness to work 2nd shift hours and overtime as needed.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative and predictive maintenance on electronics manufacturing equipment.
• Troubleshoot and repair automated production lines and assembly machinery.
• Read and interpret electrical schematics and manuals to diagnose issues.
• Collaborate with engineering and production to improve equipment reliability.
• Maintain and update CMMS records for work performed.
