Job summary

Jobot seeks a 2nd Shift Maintenance Technician in Bloomington, MN to troubleshoot and maintain electronics manufacturing equipment. Hours are 2 p.m. – 11 p.m., Monday through Friday, on-site, with a 3‑month contract to hire and full benefits on us.

The role covers preventive and predictive maintenance, reading schematics, PM programs, and CMMS usage. Opportunity to grow into senior maintenance, controls, or engineering roles within a collaborative team.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of maintenance experience in electronics, PCB, or precision manufacturing.
• Experience troubleshooting automated production equipment and assembly machinery.
• Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills (motors, sensors, relays).
• Familiarity with SMT equipment or similar is preferred.
• Experience with preventative maintenance programs in a high‑mix manufacturing environment.
• Basic PLC troubleshooting skills preferred.
• ESD‑sensitive environments and electronics manufacturing best practices.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and repair automated production equipment and assembly machinery.
• Perform preventative and predictive maintenance on electronics manufacturing systems.
• Read electrical schematics and equipment manuals.
• Utilize CMMS for maintenance tracking and documentation.
• Support safety standards and quality processes in a high‑mix manufacturing setting.
