Actalent is seeking an On-Site Safety Lead for electrical operations on a large data center construction project in Wisconsin. You will oversee field activities, enforce safety standards, and drive a proactive safety culture among electricians and subcontractors.

The role requires 5+ years of construction safety experience, with emphasis on electrical environments. Strong incident investigation skills and ability to implement corrective actions are essential.

Formación

• 5+ years of construction safety experience, with a strong preference for electrical construction environments.
• Prior experience as safety manager or equivalent leadership on construction projects.
• Experience on data center or heavy industrial construction projects.
• Comprehensive knowledge of OSHA regulations and construction safety standards.

Responsabilidades

• Serve as the on-site safety lead for electrical operations on a data center construction project.
• Monitor daily activities of electricians and subcontractors to ensure safe work practices and compliance with procedures.
• Conduct routine site audits, inspections, and jobsite walkthroughs to identify hazards and verify corrective actions.
• Enforce OSHA regulations, client safety requirements, and internal company safety policies across all field operations.
• Develop, maintain, and update site-specific safety plans, JHAs, JSAs, and permit-to-work systems.
• Lead incident investigations, perform root cause analysis, and implement corrective and preventive actions to reduce recurrence.
• Deliver toolbox talks, safety orientations, and ongoing field safety training to craft workers, supervisors, and subcontractors.
• Manage and control risks associated with LOTO, arc flash, energized work, and elevated work activities.
• Track, analyze, and report safety metrics and leading indicators to support continuous improvement of safety performance.
• Maintain accurate and timely safety documentation to ensure regulatory and contractual compliance.
• Collaborate with project leadership and field teams to integrate safety into planning, scheduling, and execution of work.
• Promote a strong safety culture by engaging workers, encouraging hazard reporting, and recognizing safe behaviors.
