You will develop, implement, and maintain safety and environmental policies, ensuring compliance with OSHA, EPA and local regulations while supporting corporate EHS goals. The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in health and safety or environmental sciences, CSP preferred, and 5–7 years in industrial manufacturing or regulatory environments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in health and safety or environmental sciences.
• Certified Safety Professional (CSP) preferred.
• 5–7 years in industrial manufacturing or regulatory environments.
• Knowledge of OSHA, EPA and related standards.
• Leadership in a high accountability, metrics-driven culture.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and maintain comprehensive EHS programs for the Jackson plant.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local laws including OSHA/EPA requirements.
• Translate corporate EHS requirements into site-specific management systems and goals.
• Lead audit programs with corporate EHS and resolve audit findings.
• Interface with regulatory agencies and manage regulatory issues for the site.
• Drive EHS goals with leadership and front-line supervision to improve culture and results.
• Provide training and share best practices across the product group.
