Stanley Black & Decker, Inc. in Jackson, TN invites applications for an Environmental Health and Safety Manager on-site with our Global Supply Chain team.

You will lead comprehensive EHS programs, ensure regulatory compliance, and translate corporate requirements into site actions to meet safety and environmental goals. You will collaborate with corporate EHS leads, manage audits, and drive safety culture across leadership and operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in health and safety or environmental sciences or equivalent.
• Minimum of 5–7 years’ experience in industrial manufacturing or regulatory government environment.
• Detailed knowledge of OSHA, EPA and other applicable industry environmental, health and safety standards.
• Leadership experience in a high accountability culture with metrics.
• Ability to balance compliance urgency with operations needs.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and maintain comprehensive EHS programs for the Jackson plant.
• Ensure compliance with all applicable federal, state, and local laws.
• Translate corporate EHS requirements into site-specific management systems and goals.
• Lead audits and coordinate corrective actions to meet corporate EHS standards.
• Interface with regulatory agencies on environmental issues and permit compliance.
• Drive EHS goals with leadership and frontline teams to foster culture and results.
• Provide technical expertise on internal and external EHS requirements and issues.
