Stanley Black and Decker Inc. in Decorah, IA, seeks an Environmental Health & Safety (EH&S) Manager to lead onsite EH&S programs and compliance. You will collaborate with leadership to implement safety and environmental initiatives, investigate incidents, and ensure regulatory adherence.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in EH&S or equivalent, 3+ years in manufacturing, knowledge of OSHA/EPA rules, and ISO14001. Excellent communication and MS Office skills are essential.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in EH&S or equivalent experience.
• Minimum of 3 years in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong knowledge of OSHA and EPA rules and regulations.
• Knowledge of and experience with ISO14001.
• Excellent communication skills and self-motivation.
• Demonstrates an intermediate ability with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).

Responsabilidades

• Collaborate with management in creation and implementation of EH&S programs and activities.
• Perform accident investigations to reduce liabilities and losses, and develop prevention programs.
• Maintain EPA hazardous waste records; arrange sampling and ensure compliance with EH&S laws.
• Implement EH&S programs per company policies and conduct routine audits.
• Serve as technical EH&S consultant to the plant and liaise with Corporate EH&S.
• Act as main contact between the plant and Corporate EH&S regarding regulatory discussions.
• Support plant purchasing to minimize future liability and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Coordinate worker safety programs, training, SDS maintenance, and OSHA records.
• Prepare and submit EPA and TSCA reports as required.
