Job summary

Responsibilities

• Conduct hospital rounds and follow up on active referrals and potential donation opportunities.
• Develop and maintain strong professional relationships with hospital staff and key partners.
• Provide donation education, in-services, and real-time support to healthcare professionals.
• Monitor donation activity and help identify opportunities to improve donation processes and outcomes.
• Clinically evaluate potential organ and tissue donors and collaborate with hospital staff to preserve donation options.
• Help facilitate the start of organ donor cases, coordinating with hospital staff and LifeShare teams.
• Engage with families regarding organ donation and provide support throughout the process.
• Present donation options to next-of-kin and obtain authorization when appropriate.
• Maintain accurate donor, referral, hospital, and educational documentation.
• Support hospital-specific donation initiatives and relationship-building efforts.
