LifeShare Network, Inc. is seeking a Donation Services Coordinator in Oklahoma City to manage donor referrals, perform screening, and coordinate the donation process with hospitals and families.

You’ll communicate with medical staff, coordinate with partners, and ensure timely documentation in a fast-paced, compassionate environment. The role requires empathy, strong healthcare knowledge, and the ability to work 12-hour shifts with rotating weekends/holidays, fully on-site at our Oklahoma City

Qualifications

• Minimum education: Associate’s degree or two years of healthcare experience.
• Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
• Knowledge of basic medical terminology and human anatomy.
• Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong organizational and time-management abilities.
• Ability to compassionately communicate with grieving families.
• Able to work with multiple healthcare professionals and external partners.
• Calm under pressure and able to handle sensitive situations.
• Independent yet team-oriented work style.

Responsabilités

• Receive and coordinate incoming organ, eye, and tissue donor referrals.
• Communicate with hospital staff to gather medical information and evaluate donor eligibility.
• Perform initial triage and medical screening of potential donors.
• Present donation opportunities to families with empathy and professionalism.
• Obtain informed authorization for donation from appropriate next of kin.
• Conduct donor risk assessment and medical/social history interviews.
• Create and maintain donor records and complete documentation on time.
• Coordinate with hospitals, funeral homes, and tissue partners throughout the process.
• Provide follow-up and relay critical medical information to partners.
• Support clinical and recovery teams with ongoing case activity.
• Manage multiple priorities with professionalism and confidentiality.
• Ensure 24/7/365 availability to serve donors and hospitals.
