Job summary

Stanley Black & Decker, Inc. is hiring a Distribution Supervisor for the Jackson, TN site on the 2nd shift (2pm-10pm, M-F). You will lead on-site operations, ensure safety culture, optimize staffing, and coordinate workflows to meet efficiency and cost targets.

Requirements include 3+ years in warehousing or manufacturing, 1+ year of leadership, and proficiency with Microsoft Office; SAP/WMS experience is preferred. Competitive salary and comprehensive benefits offered.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree preferred; minimum requirement of associate’s degree.
Minimum 3+ years’ experience in a warehouse, distribution, or manufacturing setting.
Minimum 1+ years’ recent leadership experience.
Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
Experience with inventory or warehouse software (SAP, WMS) preferred.

Responsibilities

Ensure safety of employees through active safety culture, policy enforcement, and improvements.
Maintain staffing to meet department mission efficiently.
Plan and coordinate work with time studies, cost analysis, etc.
Train, motivate, and evaluate associates’ performance.
Oversee safe operation of material handling equipment and storage moves.
Engage the team and build trust to achieve goals.
Develop Team Leaders for daily routines of associates.
Monitor department performance for cost, labor, and productivity.
