Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 2+ years of experience with heavy equipment preferred.
• Valid driver’s license and insurable driving record.
• OSHA 10 course certificate and site-specific training may be required.
• Ability to read and interpret safety and maintenance instructions.

Responsibilities

• Repairs and operates heavy equipment, specifically diesel industrial lift trucks.
• Reads work orders, listens to trucks in operation to diagnose malfunctions.
• Provides solutions and estimates when appropriate; performs mechanical repairs after inspection.
• Records repair details, model, serial number and hours; communicates with customer.
• Inspects guards and safety devices, lubricates moving parts, tests repaired trucks.
• Represents Equipment Depot to customers and maintains professional image.
• Tracks routine maintenance; submits time cards and paperwork daily.
• Pass on-site drug test as required.
