Job summary

Equipment Depot is seeking a skilled field service technician to repair and maintain electric, diesel, and gasoline industrial trucks and construction equipment. You will diagnose issues by listening to the operation, inspect equipment, and perform repairs to meet customer specifications.

Responsibilities include documenting repairs on work orders, communicating with customers, and ensuring safety and proper maintenance.

Qualifications

Education: High School Graduate or GED.
Experience: 1–3 months related experience or training.
Computer Skills: Knowledge of internet software.
Certificates & Licenses: Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
Language: Ability to read, write, and speak clearly.
Math: Basic arithmetic and measurement conversions.
Reasoning: Able to follow written/oral instructions and solve problems.

Responsibilities

Reads work order and observes truck in operation to diagnose malfunctions.
Makes mechanical repairs after inspection.
Records repair details on work orders including model, serial number, and hours.
Communicates with customers about repair needs and completed work.
Lubricates moving parts and verifies repairs meet specifications.
Represents Equipment Depot professionally and maintains van cleanliness.
Submits time cards by 9:00 a.m. daily.
