Job summary

You will diagnose issues from work orders, perform repairs, and provide recommendations to meet customer specifications. The role requires a high school diploma or GED, 2+ years heavy equipment experience, a valid driver’s license, OSHA 10, and the ability to pass drug tests.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Minimum 2+ years experience with heavy equipment.
• Valid driver’s license and insurable driving record.
• OSHA 10 certificate and site-specific training required.
• Ability to pass on-site random drug tests.

Responsibilities

• Repair and operate heavy equipment.
• Read work orders and observe truck operation to diagnose malfunction.
• Provide repair estimates when appropriate.
• Document repair descriptions with model, serial number, and hours.
• Communicate repair needs to customers and report completed work.
• Inspect guards, loose bolts, and safety devices; make adjustments.
• Lubricate moving parts and verify repairs by test drive.
• Maintain professional image of service trucks and submit paperwork daily.
• Schedule with operations or service manager for routine maintenance.
