Job summary

Insight Global is seeking an on-site Desktop Support Technician in Wilton, CT to assist end users with desktops, laptops, peripherals, and software applications. The role includes troubleshooting hardware/software, installations, and serving as a Tier 1/2 IT incident contact, across office and clean-room environments.

The ideal candidate will have 4 years of relevant experience, strong customer service, and the ability to interface with customers, vendors, and Network Services, including

Qualifications

• 4 years of relevant experience required.
• Experience with computer build-out and setup; imaging, application installs, and configuration.
• Excellent customer service skills with strong customer relationship building.
• Ability to interface effectively with customers, vendors, and Network Services.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical assistance to end users for desktops, laptops, peripherals, mobile devices, and software applications.
• Troubleshoot and resolve hardware and software issues; support installation and maintenance activities.
• Serve as a Tier 1/ Tier 2 contact for IT incidents and provide end-user training.
• Support office and clean-room environments in the client’s semiconductor facility.
