Job summary

Zones IT Solutions is seeking a Desktop Support Technician for an on-site role in Hopkinsville, KY. The contract runs 5+ months with pay up to $31.25/hr and standard M-F 8-5 schedule.

You will resolve IT issues by phone and ticket, install OS and apps, and troubleshoot hardware and software, including printers and projectors. Strong remote and onsite support experience, plus networking knowledge, is required.

Qualifications

• 8+ years’ experience troubleshooting software, printers, and projectors via remote and phone support.
• Experience troubleshooting laptop/desktop hardware and network issues.
• Ability to explain technical issues to both technical and nontechnical users.

Responsibilities

• Respond and resolve IT issues over the phone and tickets.
• Install OS and user applications.
• Troubleshoot hardware and software problems.
• Configure, maintain, and troubleshoot printers of all types.
• Develop and maintain deskside operations procedures.
• Provide resources during Critical Situations.
• Manage deskside services staffing and escalation lists.
• Improve Deskside Services delivery and reduce escalations.
