Job summary

NTT DATA is seeking a Desktop Support Technician in Belle Mead, New Jersey to provide managed client services including IMAC, break fix, and desk side support with a strong emphasis on customer service. The role requires on-site work at the client facility and may involve travel to Edison, with rotating on-call, holidays, and occasional weekends.

The position includes troubleshooting, ticket management, and hands-on hardware/software support for desktops, laptops, printers, and peripherals.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of desktop support experience.
• Hands on with workstation hardware and troubleshooting.
• Experience with Windows OS, MS Office, antivirus and browsers.

Responsibilities

• Configure and repair desktop/notebook equipment, basic IP phone setup, and network drops.
• Provide onsite end-user support via in-person, phone, email, or video.
• Advise customers on preventive maintenance and configurations affecting performance.
• Diagnose and resolve performance problems using advanced tools and knowledge.
• Perform break-fix hardware and software repairs on desktops/notebooks and peripherals.
• IMAC installations and maintenance for desktops, laptops, printers and peripherals.
• Manage tickets and workload using the client ticketing system.
• Lift and move hardware as required.
