Job summary

SCRMC seeks a Desktop Support Analyst to maintain and enhance end-user computing for Magee General Hospital. Responsibilities include installing and supporting hardware/software, performing upgrades, managing mobile devices, troubleshooting, and documenting processes to ensure high-quality IT support.

The role requires resolving issues, coordinating with vendors, and participating in on-call rotations, with on-site work and occasional after-hours as needed; HIPAA compliance is essential.

Qualifications

• Enterprise IT experience preferred.
• Microsoft desktop certifications preferred.
• Level I-III based on healthcare experience, certifications, work experience, and education.

Responsibilities

• Resolve hardware/software issues; coordinate with off-premise vendors; participate in on-call rotation; deliver excellent customer service; communicate effectively; demonstrate initiative; work outside normal hours if needed.
• Image workstations; add devices to domain; troubleshoot web/email/Office issues; elevate to Tier 2/3; maintain compliance with SCRMC IT and HIPAA; identify automation opportunities; research best practices; close tickets promptly.
