Job summary

Teceze seeks an experienced Deskside Support technician to handle on-site IT infrastructure tasks in a fast-paced environment. You will troubleshoot basic networking, data center operations, monitoring tools, hardware, and ITSM platforms while communicating with remote teams.

The role requires 3–5 years of hands-on experience and a practical understanding of VLANs, VOIP, fiber, and server/storage basics. You will partner with internal teams, customers, and vendors to resolve issues efficiently.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of IT infrastructure support experience.
• Hands-on in basic networking and data center operations.
• Familiar with ITSM tools and monitoring systems.
• Strong communication with remote teams.

Responsibilities

• Assign VLANs and manage switch ports.
• Patch phone ports to switch as needed.
• Troubleshoot Avaya VOIP phones and basic config.
• Troubleshoot fiber links between switches and remote teams.
• Replace network switch chassis blades as required.
• Monitor IDF rooms for cooling, power status and UPS alarms.
• Support internal, customer and vendor troubleshooting.
• Assist with Windows/UNIX/Linux OS basics.
