Job summary

Old Dominion Abatement and Demolition (ODAD) seeks a General Laborer to support abatement, remediation, ICRA, and demolition projects. You will assist with site setup, material handling, containment installation, and routine field tasks.

This role requires adherence to safety policies, ability to travel to job sites, and willingness to work overtime. Training provided; OSHA 10 and other certifications preferred.

Qualifications

• Ability to follow verbal and written instructions and work under supervision.
• Basic knowledge of construction safety practices.
• Ability to travel to assigned job sites.
• Ability to work overtime, weekends, or varying shifts as needed.
• Ability to obtain and maintain required certifications.

Responsibilities

• Perform general labor and construction-related tasks as directed by Foreman or Superintendent.
• Assist with setup, maintenance, and cleanup of work areas.
• Load, unload, move, and organize materials and tools.
• Assist with environmental work such as abatement and remediation when trained.
• Assist with containments, barriers, and safety-related controls.
• Use hand and power tools safely and as directed.
• Follow project plans, procedures, and supervisor directions.
• Maintain clean and safe work areas throughout the day.
• Report unsafe conditions and equipment issues immediately.
