Job summary

Old Dominion Abatement and Demolition (ODAD) seeks a Foreman to provide hands-on leadership and daily supervision of an assigned crew performing abatement, remediation, ICRA, and selective demolition. You will ensure work is executed safely, according to plans, and coordinate materials and PPE.

You will train crew, monitor productivity, maintain records, and communicate progress to the Superintendent. Travel to job sites and overtime may be required; a valid driver's license and certifications

Qualifications

• Three or more years of abatement or related construction experience.
• Active asbestos abatement certification(s).
• Previous crew lead or supervisory experience.
• Working knowledge of construction safety practices and OSHA requirements.
• Ability to travel to assigned job sites and maintain reliable attendance.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise daily field crew activities.
• Communicate daily work assignments, priorities, and safety expectations to crew members.
• Ensure work is completed according to project plans, specifications, and company standards.
• Coordinate materials, tools, equipment, and PPE needed by the crew.
• Conduct daily crew briefings and safety discussions.
• Monitor crew productivity, workmanship, and progress throughout the day.
• Ensure compliance with safety policies, OSHA requirements, and environmental regulations.
• Oversee abatement, remediation, ICRA containment, and demolition activities.
• Maintain clean, organized, and safe work areas.
• Train and provide hands-on guidance to crew members.
• Record crew time and attendance and complete field documentation.
• Communicate progress and needs to the Superintendent.
