Job summary

Old Dominion Abatement and Demolition (ODAD) seeks a seasoned Superintendent to coordinate field operations on commercial and industrial projects, overseeing crews performing asbestos and lead abatement, mold remediation, ICRA services, and selective demolition.

You will ensure projects run safely, on time, and within budget, managing manpower, equipment, and logistics while maintaining compliance with OSHA, EPA, and local regulations. Travel to multiple job sites is required.

Qualifications

• Minimum five (5) years in construction, asbestos abatement, demolition, or environmental remediation.
• Active asbestos abatement certification(s) applicable to the work and jurisdiction.
• OSHA 30 certification.
• Strong knowledge of asbestos abatement, demolition, remediation, construction practices, procedures, and applicable safety requirements.
• Experience supervising field crews while maintaining safety, quality, productivity, and schedules.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and oversee field operations for asbestos/lead abatement, mold remediation, ICRA, and demolition projects.
• Supervise and direct project activities, including planning, scheduling, crews, and milestones.
• Ensure safety, schedule, budget, and regulatory compliance per plans and specs.
• Plan manpower, materials, equipment, PPE, and resources for project execution.
• Lead pre-task planning and daily crew huddles to communicate expectations and risks.
• Maintain project documentation and daily reports.
