Job summary

Unisys Corporation is seeking an experienced On‑Site Service Engineer to provide hands‑on support for enterprise data center servers and hardware environments, including next‑generation AI infrastructure. The role requires direct experience diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining server hardware in data centers or customer sites.

You will work on‑site with Dell PowerEdge and other enterprise server hardware, perform installs and repairs, and communicate status with customers.

Qualifications

3+ years hands-on experience supporting enterprise servers or data center hardware.
Direct experience physically working on server hardware — installing, diagnosing, repairing, or replacing components.
Experience with hardware diagnostics, BIOS/firmware, and server management tools.

Responsibilities

Provide on-site technical support for Dell PowerEdge and other enterprise server hardware.
Diagnose and resolve server hardware failures to minimize downtime.
Perform hardware installation, removal, replacement, and repair for memory, CPUs, power supplies, drives, NICs, GPUs, and other components.
Carry out rack-and-stack, server installation, cabling, and hardware configuration.
Troubleshoot issues involving server hardware, BIOS/firmware, OS, and diagnostics; update firmware when needed.
Document service activities and resolutions; escalate complex issues as appropriate.
