Job summary

Unisys is seeking an On-Site Service Engineer to provide hands-on support for enterprise data center servers and hardware environments, including AI infrastructure. You will diagnose, repair, and replace components in a customer-facing setting, with emphasis on Dell PowerEdge servers and related hardware.

Responsibilities include precise documentation, BIOS/firmware updates, and collaboration with internal teams to resolve issues.

Qualifications

Minimum 3+ years hands-on experience with enterprise servers and data center hardware.
Direct, hands-on work on server components in data centers or field service.
Experience troubleshooting hardware failures and performing replacements.

Responsibilities

Provide on-site technical support for Dell PowerEdge and other enterprise servers.
Diagnose hardware failures and minimize customer downtime.
Install, remove, replace, and repair server components (memory, CPUs, PSU, storage, PCIe, GPUs).
Perform rack/stack, cabling, and hardware configuration.
Troubleshoot BIOS/firmware, OS, and hardware diagnostics issues.
Update firmware/BIOS and use management tools like iDRAC.
Escalate complex issues and document service activities.
Participate in on-call rotations and travel to customer sites.
