Job summary

JLL is hiring an Operating Engineer for data centers in Wilson, NC. The role focuses on preventive maintenance, CE engineering operations, and keeping critical systems running smoothly. You will troubleshoot electrical and mechanical issues and coordinate with senior staff.

Responsibilities include site safety adherence, CMMS work order management, and maintaining equipment records. The position requires on-site work and ability to handle lifting, climbing, and on-call shifts.

Qualifications

• Strong communication skills, verbal and written.
• Ability to read and interpret safety rules and procedures.
• Ability to read and interpret technical documents and codes.
• Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.

Responsibilities

• Conduct preventive maintenance on data center equipment and systems.
• Monitor and respond to alarms on building management systems.
• Collaborate with senior engineers to troubleshoot issues and implement solutions.
• Assist with installation, configuration, and testing of new equipment.
• Maintain records of maintenance activities, parts used, and changes.
• Support site safety and regulatory compliance.
