Job summary

Teal Energi is seeking an Engineering Construction Manager (Data Centers) in Hubbard, TX, with travel to site Monday–Friday. You will lead the technical coordination between design, construction, procurement, and field execution on large-scale, mission-critical projects.

Ideal candidates have 8+ years in engineering/construction coordination and strong experience across MEP, structural disciplines, and design-change management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, construction management, architecture or related technical field.
• 8+ years of engineering, construction, or design-coordination experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day engineering coordination between project team, designers, contractors, vendors, and field personnel.
• Manage the flow and resolution of RFIs, submittals, shop drawings, design revisions, technical queries, and construction documents.
• Coordinate multidisciplinary design issues involving structural steel, building envelope, foundations, penetrations, HVAC, plumbing, electrical interfaces, fire protection, interiors, and equipment installation.
• Identify constructability issues early and develop practical field solutions with teams.
• Coordinate technical requirements affecting procurement, fabrication, installation, and construction milestones.
• Track engineering deliverables and critical approvals against project and material-needed dates.
• Participate in BIM and coordination reviews to resolve clashes before field impact.
• Ensure construction teams work from latest approved drawings and specs.
• Support field engineering activities, inspections, as-built documentation, commissioning, turnover.
• Review proposed design changes and communicate potential scope, cost, schedule impacts.
