Job summary

E Tech Group is seeking an On-Site Construction Manager to lead installation activities for Data Center projects in West Texas. You will coordinate with General and Subcontractors, report to the Lead PM, and ensure on-time, on-budget delivery while meeting scope expectations.

We value expert communication, collaboration, and a proactive approach to risk and change management, with on-site presence required at project locations.

Qualifications

• 10 years in project and/or construction management environment.
• Proficient in project and construction management principles, methods, and tools.
• Experience in industrial controls for data centers, building management, consumer products, automotive, food & beverage, process industries, energy management, or similar.
• Experience in building construction and the managing of subcontractors.
• DNA comprised of collaboration and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Be in charge of the E Tech Low Voltage Subcontractor’s scope and schedule as it pertains to the installation of a given Data Center project.
• Deliver the installation portion of a given project on time and under budget, as defined by the E Tech Lead Project Manager.
• Communicate between client and subcontractors by working closely with the Lead Project Manager.
• Develop the project labor resource plan and quality control plan to meet schedule and budget.
• Maintain control of scope and compliance with contract requirements and manage Change Orders.
• Develop and maintain project cost budgets and reports; forecast costs and contingencies.
• Ensure resources are allocated at the right time and communicate progress to team and client.
• Identify project risks in advance and mobilize resources to mitigate them.
