Job summary

Michels Infrastructure Solutions, Inc. is seeking a Project Engineer for Hubbard, TX to support data center site development and heavy civil construction. You will coordinate with project managers, field teams, and customers to ensure on-schedule, on-budget delivery with high quality.

The role emphasizes reviewing drawings, coordinating submittals, RFIs, and cost-tracking, while collaborating with cross-functional teams to overcome challenges and maintain safety and quality standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in CM or CE with 3+ years construction experience.
• Experience with data center or large infrastructure projects preferred.
• Ability to read drawings, specifications, and civil plans.
• Familiarity with Procore or similar project management software.
• Valid driver’s license and onsite work Mon-Fri at Hubbard site.

Responsibilities

• Assist planning, scheduling, and coordination activities throughout the project lifecycle.
• Review construction drawings, specifications, and civil plans to support field operations.
• Coordinate submittals, RFIs, change documentation, and project records to ensure contract compliance.
• Support quantity takeoffs, cost tracking, and procurement activities for project materials and services.
• Collaborate with engineering, operations, and construction teams to resolve technical and constructability challenges.
• Maintain project documentation and reporting in Procore or other CM platforms.
