Job summary

QTS Data Centers is seeking a Development Project Manager for on-site data center construction at Van Wert, OH. You will lead design, preconstruction, and construction activities, coordinating with facilities, contractors, designers, engineers, and data center operations staff.

The role requires on-site presence 4 days per week and near-constant communication with stakeholders to maintain budgets, schedules, and master development plans. Join a leader in global digital infrastructure.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Science or Engineering or equivalent professional experience.
• Five or more years of professional experience in commercial construction practices and project delivery methods from conceptual development through procurement to close out.
• Experience with Microsoft Office suite, specifically PowerPoint for updates and Excel for budgets.

Responsibilities

• Manage multiple projects on a campus(es) and maintain updated budgets, schedules, and status reports.
• Create and communicate updates on development program & project status for executive reviews.
• Work with stakeholders to create a master development program and capital budget.
• Manage entitlement and permitting needs for each site project.
• Develop site development plans, budgets, and schedules.
• Write scopes of work for design, construction, commissioning services & participate in procurement and cost estimates.
• Evaluate pricing proposals and collaborate with procurement on equipment delivery.
• Ensure submittals are coordinated with site stakeholders.
• Monitor budget and cost-to-date against overall project budget.
