Job summary

QTS is seeking a Development Program Manager (Data Center Construction) to lead design, pre-construction and construction on multiple campus projects. You will work with Facilities, Contractors, Designers, Engineers, and Operations, with onsite time 50–75% of the project.

You will manage budgets, schedules, and executive-ready updates. Ideal candidates have 8+ years in commercial construction, a Science/Engineering degree, and strong MS Office skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Science or Engineering or equivalent professional experience.
• Eight or more years of professional experience in commercial construction practices and procedures.
• Experience with MS Office including PowerPoint and Excel for updates and budgets.

Responsibilities

• Manage multiple projects on a campus and maintain budgets, schedules, and status reports.
• Create updates on development program & project status for executive reviews.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to develop a master development program and budget.
• Manage entitlements, permits, and multi-phased site development plans.
• Write scopes of work for design/construction and participate in procurement and cost estimates.
• Evaluate pricing proposals and coordinate with procurement on equipment delivery.
• Ensure submittals are coordinated with site stakeholders and monitor budget to date.
• Lead project schedules and teams to on-time completion; review pay apps and change orders.
