Job summary

Saputo, Inc. is looking for a Quality Technician in Troy, NC. In this full-time role, you will perform vital quality control tasks including sampling and testing of dairy products. You will ensure compliance with quality assurance procedures and maintain accurate QC records.

The ideal candidate possesses a high school diploma, strong math and communication skills, and familiarity with food manufacturing practices. The starting pay is $21.79 per hour, with opportunities for personal development and community contribution.

Qualifications

• Previous experience with food quality specifications preferred.
• Advanced quality/food safety training and/or certifications is a plus.
• Ability to pass and maintain regulatory certification as required.

Responsibilities

• Collect samples and perform testing of dairy products.
• Identify and communicate any out-of-specification results.
• Prepare and process production records related to specifications.

Skills

Strong verbal and written communication skills

Strong computer and business skills (SAP, Microsoft Office)

Education

High School Diploma or Equivalent

Associate’s Degree in Food or Dairy Science
