Job summary

Saputo, Inc. in New York state is seeking a Quality Control Technician to perform analytical testing of dairy ingredients and finished products. You will handle sampling from production lines, document results, and maintain QC records to ensure compliance with QA procedures.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Associate’s Degree preferred.
• Experience with food quality specifications and process control preferred.
• Strong math, communication skills, and ability to pass required certifications.

Responsibilities

• Collects samples and performs analytical testing of raw ingredients, packaging materials, and finished dairy products.
• Identify and communicate out-of-spec results and follow notification protocols.
• Maintain QC records and enter data into the system accurately.
• Calibrate and maintain lab testing equipment and prepare stock solutions.
• Support audits, recall programs, and customer certificate processing.
• Follow QA procedures and comply with federal/state dairy regulations.
