Job summary

Saputo USA is seeking a Quality Technician to join our 24/7 dairy facility in New York. You will collect samples, perform analytical testing, and maintain QC records to ensure compliance with specifications and regulatory guidelines.

The role requires strong math and computer skills (SAP and Microsoft Office), plus ability to work rotating day/night shifts and lift up to 50 lbs. Understanding of QA/QC protocols (GMP/HACCP) is highly valued.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent; Associate’s Degree in Food or Dairy Science preferred.
• Experience with food quality specs, process control monitoring and positive release docs or similar with strict protocol adherence.
• Advanced quality/food safety training and/or certifications is a plus, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Collects samples and perform physical analytical sampling and testing of raw ingredients, packaging materials and finished dairy products.
• Perform microbiological sampling and testing of dairy products.
• Identify and communicate out-of-spec results; follow notification protocol.
• Routinely collect product samples from production lines per testing requirements.
• Maintain QC records and filing; complete analytical documents and enter data.
