Job summary

SimVentions, Inc. is seeking a Journeyman Cybersecurity Analyst for an on-site role at NSWC Dahlgren, VA. You will craft RMF A&A packages, perform continuous monitoring, and conduct system testing for DoD combat systems. Active Top Secret with SCI eligibility is required, with US citizenship. Funding anticipated December 2026.

The role requires DoD cybersecurity policy experience, STIG application, and risk assessment planning across Navy systems.

Qualifications

• Two years of program-specific security engineering experience with Navy afloat/tactical systems or five years general security engineering.
• Two of the five years must include Combat Weapons Systems experience with Navy platforms (e.g., Aegis, SSDS, Zumwalt).
• IAT Level II or III certification or equivalent for ISSO/ISSE duties.

Responsibilities

• Author DoD Cybersecurity Assessment and Authorization artifacts.
• Document systems from a cybersecurity perspective using MS Word, Excel, Visio, and related tools.
• Plan and execute risk assessments against known vulnerabilities and document results.
