Job summary

SimVentions, Inc is seeking a Journeyman Cybersecurity Analyst to join our on-site team at NSWC Dahlgren, VA. The role focuses on RMF A&A, continuous monitoring, and system testing to secure advanced combat systems.

The position requires an ACTIVE Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility and US citizenship. Expect DoD policy compliance work and collaboration with Navy systems engineering teams.

Qualifications

• 2 years of program-specific security engineering experience (Navy afloat/tactical) or 5 years general security engineering experience.
• IAT Level II or III certification (DoD 8570.01) for ISSO/ISSE functions.
• Understanding of DoD cybersecurity policies, systems, and clear communication of security concepts.

Responsibilities

• Author DoD Cybersecurity Assessment and Authorization artifacts.
• Document systems from a cybersecurity perspective using MS Word, Excel, Visio.
• Plan, execute and document risk assessments against known vulnerabilities.
• Apply DISA STIGs and DoD recommendations to combat systems.
• Lead ISSO efforts for specified information systems and coordinate security matters.
