Job summary

SimVentions, Inc. is seeking a Journeyman Cybersecurity Analyst to work 100% on site at NSWC Dahlgren, VA. You will craft RMF A&A artifacts, perform continuous monitoring, and test systems to ensure accreditation.

The role requires an ACTIVE Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility and DoD cybersecurity expertise across Navy combat systems. This is a high-impact position with growth opportunities in a government-focused environment.

Qualifications

• Two (2) years program specific security engineering experience with Navy systems.
• Two (2) of five (5) years on Combat Weapons Systems like Aegis/SSDS/Zumwalt.
• IAT Level II or III certification required for ISSO/ISSE roles.
• Understanding of DoD cybersecurity policies for land and afloat systems.

Responsibilities

• Author DoD Cybersecurity Assessment and Authorization artifacts.
• Document a system from a cybersecurity perspective using MS Word, Excel and Visio.
• Apply DISA STIGs and NSA recommendations to systems.
• Perform vulnerability tests with manual techniques and ACAS.
• Lead ISSO role and be the focal point for security matters.
• Plan and document risk assessments against known vulnerabilities.
• Develop cybersecurity requirements, standards, and procedures for combat systems.
• Coordinate cybersecurity activities across multiple classification levels.
