Job summary

SimVentions, Inc. is seeking a Journeyman Cybersecurity Analyst to join our on-site team at NSWC Dahlgren, VA. The role focuses on RMF A&A, continuous monitoring, and system testing to secure advanced combat systems.

The candidate must have DoD cybersecurity experience, be eligible for Top Secret clearance with SCI, and bring knowledge of IAT levels, STIGs, and vulnerability testing. Compensation ranges from $100,000 to $156,000 annually.

Qualifications

• Two years program specific security engineering experience with Navy afloat/tactical systems OR five years general security engineering experience.
• Two years of the five years on Combat Weapons Systems experience in Aegis/SSDS/Zumwalt or similar Navy systems; DoD 8570.01 IAT Level II or III when acting as ISSO/ISSE.
• Must understand DoD cybersecurity policies and communicate clearly in writing and speaking.

Responsibilities

• Author DoD Cybersecurity A&A artifacts.
• Document system CONOPS for Mission Assurance per DoDI 8500.2.
• Apply STIGs and DISA/NsA guidance; perform vulnerability tests with ACAS and similar IA tools.
• Lead ISSO activities for information systems and develop IAVM plans.
• Conduct cyber policy and risk assessment activities across combat systems.
