Job summary

SimVentions is seeking a Journeyman Cybersecurity Analyst to join our on-site team at NSWC Dahlgren, VA. You will craft RMF A&A packages, conduct continuous monitoring, and perform system testing to secure advanced combat systems.

This role requires an ACTIVE Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility and US citizenship. The ideal candidate has DoD cybersecurity experience, familiarity with STIGs, and strong documentation skills.

Qualifications

• Two years program-specific security engineering experience with Navy afloat/tactical systems.
• Two of the five years on Combat Weapons Systems in Aegis/SSDS/ZUMWALT or similar.
• IAT Level II or III certification or equivalent for ISSO/ISSE.

Responsibilities

• Author DoD Cybersecurity Assessment and Authorization artifacts.
• Document systems from a cybersecurity perspective using MS Office tools.
• Derive CONOPS for Mission Assurance per DoDI 8500.2.
• Apply DISA STIGs and DoD recommendations.
• Lead ISSO activities for security matters on information systems.
• Plan, execute and document risk assessments against known vulnerabilities.
