Job summary

SimVentions, Inc. is seeking a Journeyman Cybersecurity Analyst to join our team and work on-site at NSWC Dahlgren, VA. You will craft RMF A&A artifacts, perform continuous monitoring, and test systems to ensure compliance with DoD cybersecurity policies.

The role requires active Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility, DoD policy knowledge, and experience with security engineering in naval combat systems. This is a high-impact, on-site position with strong collaboration across teams.

Qualifications

• Two+ years in security engineering for Navy afloat/tactical systems or five+ years in general security engineering.
• IAT Level II or III certification for ISSO/ISSE roles.
• Knowledge of DoD cybersecurity policies and ability to present clearly.

Responsibilities

• Author DoD Cybersecurity A&A artifacts.
• Document systems from a cybersecurity perspective using MS Office.
• Apply STIGs and DISA guidelines to ensure compliance.
• Lead ISSO responsibilities for security matters on information systems.
• Plan and execute vulnerability tests and risk assessments.
• Develop cybersecurity requirements and risk mitigation plans for combat systems.
