Job summary

Shades of Light, LLC is seeking a multi-talented customer service agent for an in-office position at our Midlothian, VA HQ. The role supports a high-volume, fast-paced customer service center with a 40-hour week and overtime as needed. Training class starts in November and compensation is $16.00 per hour.

You will handle calls, emails, order placements, product questions, returns, and coordination with vendors and distributors to deliver world-class service.

Qualifications

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent required.
• Some college coursework preferred.
• 1 year of call center experience preferred.
• Ability to multitask effectively.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office.
• Strong organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide accurate and satisfactory answers to customer queries and concerns.
• Take upwards of 50 calls a day.
• Email and provide follow ups with vendors, distributors, and other outside resources.
• Assist customers by phone placing orders, selecting products, researching and answering product questions, processing returns, and handling damaged/ defective product claims.
• Guide callers through troubleshooting/navigating the company site.
• Collaborate with team members and leadership to provide the highest level of customer service possible.
• Meet personal/team objectives and metrics.
• All other duties assigned by management.
