Job summary

Ingersoll Rand seeks a Customer Service Technician to join a cross-functional team handling quotations, order entry, and delivery scheduling communication. The role involves daily interaction with internal departments and external distributors to ensure accurate, timely information and exceptional service.

Requirements include a high school diploma or GED and 3+ years in product or customer service, plus 1+ year of MS Word/Excel/PowerPoint experience.

Qualifications

High School diploma or GED required.
3+ years of experience with product and/or customer service.
1+ years of experience using Microsoft Word, Excel, and Power Point.

Responsibilities

Run reports to monitor and correct online orders to ensure data accuracy.
Communicate with customers via email, Salesforce or phone regarding open orders and delivery info.
Collaborate with Shipping, Engineering, Operations and other departments to ensure clear communication.
Source information via SAP and tracking logs to understand trends and inform customers.
Coordinate with Scheduling to communicate changes in order book.
Create quotes for units, parts and repair opportunities and manage returns processes.
