Job summary

Tremco Construction Products Group seeks a Customer Service Representative to provide service to distributors, contractors, design teams, and building owners. This on-site role processes product orders, handles inquiries, and ensures accurate shipping and invoicing from the Hudson, NH location.

Ideal candidates bring 2–4 years of customer service experience, strong communication skills, and proficiency with Microsoft Office.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Two to four years of relevant customer service experience.
• Experience with distributors, contractors, or sales reps.

Responsibilities

• Handle large volumes of calls, emails, and faxes. Respond to inquiries or requests (orders, product info, stock status, pricing, quotes, shipping).
• Accurately key orders and set up new customers in the system.
• Check stock availability to confirm orders."
• Handle special requests such as color matching and custom size orders.
• Responsible for logging orders, routing, shipping, and tracking outbound orders; coordinate with transporters for freight pick-up and delivery routing.
• Prepare and verify shipping documents like bills of lading (BOLs).
• Enter on-time daily by scanning BOLs; provide monthly delivery-time updates.
• Ensure orders are shipped and invoiced promptly; double-check POs before sending to the floor; inspect shipments.
• Provide SDS upon request for all shipped products.
• Keep customers and sales reps informed of anticipated ship dates and delays.
• Communicate order changes proactively.
• Build broad knowledge of product lines, prices, delivery times, and related data.
• Follow ISO procedures related to customer service.
• Troubleshoot pricing, order tracking, delivery times, and stock availability; suggest alternatives.
