Job summary

D.A. Davidson Companies is seeking a Marketing & Event Planning Coordinator in Seattle to support a variety of marketing initiatives with a focus on event coordination and collateral creation for events, reporting to the Director of Marketing.

This on-site role requires hospitality or travel management background, strong communication and organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple projects, liaise with vendors, and provide on-site problem solving.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality, tourism or travel management.
• Experience in corporate event planning.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work with tight deadlines while delivering quality content.
• Self-motivated, proactive, and able to work independently or in a team.
• This role is 100% in-office; candidates must be able to work on-site full-time.

Responsibilities

• Plan and coordinate events; source venues, manage bids, budgets, and contracts.
• Coordinate event logistics including food, travel, lodging, equipment and materials.
• On-site problem solving and attendee support during events.
• Web-related meeting needs and registration site management.
