Job summary

Balance Staffing Company seeks an Onsite Lead to act as the primary liaison between Balance Staffing and associates at a client site. You will build and nurture relationships with associates and client contacts, while managing day-to-day operations and time-keeping processes.

The role requires 2+ years in HR-related roles within light industrial environments, strong MS Office skills, and proven relationship-building abilities.

Qualifications

  • 2+ years experience in an Employee Relations, Recruitment, or related Human Resources position within a light industrial or manufacturing/production environment
  • Strong computer skills within Microsoft Office Suite, including an ability to complete reporting through Excel, PowerPoint, and Word
  • Agility as it relates to client needs and changing requirements
  • Strong relationship building skills and the ability to communicate effectively

Responsibilities

  • Build relationships with and stay engaged with contingent workforce
  • Consistently communicate with management and client regarding day-to-day operations
  • Maintain strong relationships with various levels of management and internal stakeholders
  • Counsel and coach contingent associates on performance related issues
  • Induct temporary associates and ensure they are aware of timelines and have proper training for work duties
  • Oversee time-keeping system, including managing attendance reports, processing timecards, and ensure hours are calculated and recorded properly
  • Assist in ensuring all activities are being performed in accordance to both company and client policies
  • Maintain performance, safety, and other KPI reporting on a daily, weekly, monthly basis
  • Adhere to safety guidelines and procedures, including managing safety or incident reports and violations
  • Notify and confirm candidate pool of upcoming and available shifts
  • Maintain in-person presence on site, including visiting various locations within client site
  • Attend to client needs, including meetings before and after work as required
  • Receive calls regarding position requirements and other information
  • Facilitate new hire orientations weekly to groups as needed
  • Possess and demonstrate Balance’s core values

Job description

PHYSICAL DEMANDS/REQUIREMENTS:

This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines. On occasion, duties may require the wearing of proper safety equipment in areas where such equipment is required. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and hear. The employee frequently is required to sit, stand; walk; use hands to finger; handle or feel; and reach with hands and arms. The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.

WORK ENVIRONMENT:

Balance reserves the right to require in person work or at home/remote work when necessary. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines. While performing duties of this job, the employee can be expected to work flexible hours, including before 8am and after 5pm.
