Job summary
Electrical Automation Services in Peoria, AZ seeks a skilled Controls Engineer for its Glendale, AZ plant on a 2-2-3 shift from 6:00 AM to 6:00 PM. You will serve as the on-site controls expert, providing Tier 1 and Tier 2 troubleshooting for automated production, processing, packaging, and conveyor systems.

Qualifications
- At least four years of industrial automation or controls experience in high-speed manufacturing.
- Strong PLC troubleshooting and programming capabilities.
- Experience with HMIs, VFDs, servo systems, instrumentation and networks.
- Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and drawings.
- Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.
Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary on-shift controls and automation expert.
- Provide Tier 1 and Tier 2 troubleshooting for production equipment.
- Diagnose PLC, HMI, VFD, servo, instrumentation, and network issues.
- Lead controls projects to improve safety, quality and throughput.
- Mentor maintenance technicians and operators; support commissioning.
