Job summary

Ameritech Contracting is seeking a seasoned construction supervisor to oversee on-site activities, ensure safety, manage schedule, quality, and budget in line with contract documents. You will review drawings, specs, amendments, and plans, coordinate subcontractors, and document daily progress with photos and narratives.

The role requires 7+ years in construction, strong leadership, experience with boiler/HVAC systems, and familiarity with Procore.

Qualifications

• Minimum 7+ years continuous experience in construction industry or equivalent.
• Heavy experience with boiler systems, HVAC and/or high-pressure water or gas.
• Knowledge of building construction means and methods, scheduling and cost control procedures.
• Ability to read, understand and interpret contract documents, drawings specifications, scopes of work and project schedule.
• Demonstrated leadership and interpersonal skills.
• Valid, unrestricted driver’s license is essential.
• OSHA certification is required.
• USACE CQM Certification or willingness to obtain.
• USACE EM385-40 Hour or willingness to obtain.
• CPR & First Aid certificate is desirable.
• Experience with Procore is preferred.
• Ability to follow directions and work with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Supervise on-site construction activities to ensure safety, schedule, quality and budget compliance.
• Review and analyze all project documents including drawings, specs, amendments, and plans.
• Coordinate and inspect subcontractor work for compliance with contract docs and safety requirements.
• Identify issues, RFI needs, and field changes with practical solutions.
• Oversee equipment use, material deliveries, and manpower allocation.
• Document daily site activities with narrative and photos.
• Lead tool talk meetings to keep project on schedule and plans understood.
• Maintain site safety and enforce accident prevention plans.
