Job summary

Gilbane is seeking a Superintendent to independently supervise an area of trade contractors on-site, handling work valued up to $30M. This role is on the job site daily and integral to the project team’s success.

Qualified candidates have a Bachelor’s in Engineering or Construction Management with 4–8 years’ superintendent experience on similar scale projects, OSHA 30, STS-C, First Aid/CPR, and a proven safety/quality focus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Construction Management required.
• 4–8 years of experience on $15–$30 million projects as a superintendent.
• OSHA 30-hour certification and STS-C certification.
• First Aid, CPR, AED, Stop the Bleed training.

Responsibilities

• Directs day-to-day coordination of trade partners to meet schedule.
• Creates and maintains project schedules and contingency plans.
• Ensures safety plans are enforced and quality standards met.
• Leads contractor meetings and communicates status to project team.
• Mentors less experienced field staff and supports buyout activities.
