Job summary

tribalone is seeking a Construction Superintendent to oversee on-site construction activities, ensuring quality, safety, and regulatory compliance. You will collaborate with project managers, engineers, and contractors to maintain schedules and budgets while maintaining high workmanship standards.

Ideal candidates have federal project experience, strong leadership, and a track record of implementing quality assurance plans.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required in construction management, engineering or related field.
• OSHA 30 certification; EM 385-1-1 and USACE CQM preferred; CPR/First Aid certification.
• Background checks and drug screening required; valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Oversee contractors and subcontractors to ensure plans, specs and quality standards are met.
• Implement and maintain a comprehensive quality assurance plan; conduct inspections and tests.
• Maintain detailed daily reports, inspection records, and QC documentation; report progress and safety metrics.
• Lead safety inspections and enforce PPE usage; report incidents and implement corrective actions.
• Attend project meetings; communicate changes to stakeholders and ensure documentation is complete.
• Provide on-site training on quality control procedures and safety; stay updated on industry practices and regulations.
• Other duties as assigned by management.
